The quarterly chapter magazine of the PMI Germany Chapter is increasingly becoming a fixture and a flagship of the chapter. The last issues were consistently well received by readers.

After Sunil Prashahra announced in mid-2021 that he would not continue in office at the end of 2021, we have been waiting with excitement and impatience for the announcement of his successor. The President and CEO (the official title) is the sole employee of the Board of Directors and works very closely with them. He is responsible for developing and implementing PMI's strategy. In a membership organization like PMI, he is also in dialogue with us members, volunteers and certificants.

Dear Chapter Members,

We are thrilled to announce the start of the mentoring program in our chapter! To set the program on the path to success, we first piloted it with a limited set of mentor/mentee pairs before opening it to more participants.

The Re-Launch of the Local Group Konstanz Stammtisch after Corona was more than successful. Nothing can replace a direct togetherness, a direct seeing, feeling, smelling and hearing. Combined with a boat trip on the Untersee, ideas for the future of the Stammtisch bubbled up. This motivated very much and so we have planned a lot!

The PMI Germany Chapter is pleased to offer its next Professional Development Workshop for chapter members and non-chapter participants. Participants will have the opportunity to earn 1.5 PDUs for PMP Certification renewal.

„PROJECT MANAGEMENT VS CHANGE MANAGEMENT”

On July 1, the PMI Germany Chapter is introducing a new event booking system. The new system is modern, has an improved user interface and a versatile, variable appearance. In the handling of our events, the system helps us to become more efficient.

Sustainability in organizations and thus also in projects is becoming an increasingly important topic, not least because of the EU's upcoming Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the associated CSR reporting obligation to be implemented at state level by December 1, 2022 (see https://www.csr-berichtspflicht.de/csrd). But how can a project be sustainable? What influence do sustainable aspects have on the implementation of projects?

The new Green Project Management / Sustainability event series of the PMI Germany Chapter aims to provide answers to these questions.
